Haldi Ceremony
The Haldi Ceremony is a pre-wedding ritual in India where a turmeric paste is applied on the faces of the bride and groom. It serves multiple purposes: It removes dead skin cells, allowing the couple to have radiant and glowing skin on their wedding day and serves as a ritual holy bath to purify and cleanse the couple as they enter into holy matrimony.
